The VitaPCRTM Flu/SC2 multiplex real-time RT-PCR test is a qualitative test for the identification of SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A/B viral RNA. It allows the simultaneous detection, in just 20 minutes, of the three types of viruses involved in the outbreak of COVID-19 and the seasonal flu.
What does a test entail?
- The nasopharyngeal exudate is collected and discharged into the swab provided in the kit.
- We transfer a quantity of sample into the reaction tube that we insert into the equipment.
- In just 20 minutes we will have the results for the presence of the three viruses: SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A and Influenza B.
