Uses two types of tests depending on the used antiplatelet medication:
VerifyNow Aspirin Test::
- Measures the patient response to aspirin
- Quantitative results measured in ARU (Aspirin Reaction Units)
- Range: 350-700 ARU
- Cut-off value: 550 ARU
VerifyNow PRUTest::
- Measures the patient platelet response to P2Y12 inhibitors (clopidogrel, prasugrel and ticagrelor)
- Quantitative results measured in PRU (P2Y12 Reaction Units) and inhibition percentage (%)
- Range: 95-208 PRU
